Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. JD Hawkins has a knack for writing Alpha males with vulnerabilities. I loved Jonas and Hadley together - smoking hot, but also the emotional side - Jonas kept coming back for Hadley even though he was normally a "one and done" type. I enjoyed reading about the other Ryder brothers and will be reading their stories next. ( ) **I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest voluntary review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.** Throughout the series, Jonas has been a bit of enigma to us and so I was super curious to see how his story would unfold with a character we met in the first novel. This was a really character driven story and I really liked that. Both characters seem to be at a crossroads in their life where they just go through the motions but they both crave something more. I was worried that this romance would become unhealthy given the nature of the working relationship but it never became that. These two talk a lot which was great because it really emphasized their connection as well as development as individual characters. Add to it slightly forbidden aspect of their romance and it was a great romance to read. I'm not entirely sure what was missing from this book to keep it from being a 5 star read. I think perhaps the pacing was slightly off at times when I look back at the novel as a whole. Full Review: 4/5 Actual Rating: https://wp.me/p7hLUw-2JY "I'm done with the games. I don't want to pretend you don't mean anything to me anymore. I want you., body and soul - nothing more, nothing less." "That's a hell of a change of heart." "Your a hell of a woman." What a great finale to the series!! Oh, those Ryder boys have steamed up my Kindle!! Jonas Ryder is a player. Never the same girl twice. No commitments. No promises. No strings. Ever since leaving his music career behind, it's been a long road of booze and women. He used to love music - until the joy of it was drained by those who claimed to have his and his brothers' interest at heart. He can't even pick up a guitar anymore without the anger bubbling to the surface. Now, he's facing a paralyzing reunion performance and he needs to get past the block. But how? Enter Hadley. Ever since their hook up at his brother's wedding, he can't get her out of his mind. When he learns she's a life coach, hiring her seems to be exactly what he'll need to get over his issues. When the line between professional and pleasurable become blurred, he'll have to work harder than he ever has to keep what he loves most. Music. And Hadley. But, can he do it? Has he pushed to hard on one side of that line? Can he finally find happiness or will he lose it all? Can he give more than he ever has? I loved these two! Jonas is my favorite kind of leading man- self-tortured, scared, and of the mindset that he is better off alone. Hadley is my favorite kind of leading lady - strong, persistent, and not willing to take anything less than she deserves. She works hard to get behind that hard shell surrounding Jonas's heart! This was a great finale to the series!! 1 like Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
