Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. I gave this book the old college try. I read about five chapters before I determined it wasn't for me. I couldn't relate to the main character - nothing about her appealed to me in any way. It wasn't that she was a bad character, she simply wasn't intriguing in any way. I began to skim ahead, and from what I gathered I quickly came to the conclusion that this book was just a bit too quirky for my tastes. It goes on the DNF pile. No harm, no foul. Tess Whistle is a high school junior with ridiculous problems. But her problems are not catastrophes, because she is about to discover that even though things might seem ridiculous to her, she is finding out exactly who it is that she wants to be. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

I really can't remember why I picked this book up in the first place. The main character is really juvenile for a 15 tear old and her friend isn't much better. The parents seem careless and abandon their daughter very soon in the story. Tess falls in love with Ben way too easily and seems to have no qualms handing over her v-card even though she had previously said she wanted to wait for a ring/marriage. The story seemed rushed and unrealistic to me. The writing was decent, I just think the author could have done so much more with the story. ( )
