Yawn. Don't do it unless you have too! Sure it has good info if you need it but it's pretty dry. I called it my death by drowning book as I fall asleep in the bathtub while reading it. ( )

ALA compendium of library practices. Book had orange cleaner spilled on it, with dissolved some of the glue in the binding. It is otherwise intact, but smells strongly of oranges. ( )

This is a very good resouce for the Media Specialist. The description of each standard is given with an example of the standard in action. ( )

Information Power is a "must have" for anyone looking to become a school media specialist. Its guidelines have been instrumental in helping me develop my media center handbook. However, it's very difficult to read. I'd much rather listen to nails scratch a chalkboard for hours than have to read it. ( )

This will be worn out by the time I become a media specialist. A great tool. ( )
