This book contains over 800 signs, including signs for illnesses, treatments, and drugs, as well as for human anatomy and psychology. Such signs are clearly needed by the ever-increasing numbers of Americans for whom ASL is either their native language or the language they learn in order to communicate effectively with those who use it.
