The premise is confused. The actions around the car don't make sense, like she's getting out, but then next scene she's driving.
The exposition is a little heavy.

The worst problem is the setting: it makes no sense. The character is an Aussie? But she talks about traveling in Australia as a vacation. Maybe she's an Aussie who lives in the UK, since she's using words like publican and Yank? But no--she's dealing with the FBI, the internal enforcement arm of the federal US government. But if that's the case, she should be living in the US, which would make Yanks her regular neighbors, and therefore nothing notable about meeting them in Australia. ( )
