As a mama of four kids, I was expecting this to be a helpful resource for my 12 year old daughter, who doesn't yet have social media--and could use a word of encouragement from someone further down the road she's traveling. But what I wasn't expecting was how Amy's perspective gave ME so much life and refreshment. Her vulnerability is so life-giving, her perspective refreshing, her practical suggestions helpful, and her tone so winsome and welcoming. Midway through, I asked my daughter if she agreed.... Her answer? "I'm actually REALLY enjoying it... even more than I expected."
As for her Dad's tender and wise responses? Caught myself crying several times.
I'm so, so thankful for Amy's willingness to share her voice with kids like mine, and Andy's willingness to model faith and courage in this parenting challenge...and I believe wholeheartedly that it will speak life, light, and hope into the lives of families who are swimming upstream against this cultural tsunami. Highly recommend!
