In this book it teaches young children to fill/ complement or engurge one anothers bucket. Rather then being mean and hurtful with our words which would be bucket dipping. It helps kids know the difference in how we make others feel with our actions and words by giving and receiving kindness. ( )

This story is about how easy it is to spread an act of kindness to one another. It uses a bucket and an analogy by saying everyone walks around with an invisible bucket and how easy it is to make or break someone's day. When unkind words happen, that person becomes a bucket dipper, but when kind words/acts occur, it causes that person's bucket to fill, including the one sharing the random act of kindness. It's always best to be a bucket filler than a bucket dipper. ( )
