The BBC series (non singing) production of Les Miserables. Very well done. The problem I had was that I know the musical so well that there was no jeopardy or drama for me because I know what happens. So my emotional involvement with the story was missing. It did fill in some mysteries from the musical especially the end which gets rushed over in the musical. If your knowledge of the story is low then you will probably enjoy this series a lot. ( )
