This is a good book to help children start learning to read on their own.

I didn’t really care for this book. I understood the point was about relationships, but it just wasn’t the book for me. One of the reasons I didn’t like this book was because of the writing. The writing style of this book didn’t keep me engaged. I felt like it was too predicted and I didn’t like that. “I picked up a little dinosaur egg to show my mom… I tried on some costumes, just for mom.” It’s all about just for mom, I understand its cute and it’s supposed to be about a relationship between a child and mother, but it just wasn’t my style. I also didn’t like the colors of the book. They were very dull and dark. It wasn’t a cheery book to go through. ( )
