I look forward to using this book in My First Books. after all, it is a story that promote ingenuity and never giving up---and is also a funny autumn read. The extension possibilities are endless.

A leaf named Leif comes up with inventions to keep from falling off the tree in autumn but none of them are workable. Then he falls from the tree and finds that his collective of failed ideas ended up being something useful. Good for discussing with kids that there is value in failure. (
