As allegory for coming out and fighting for what is right - the conversations about timing, presentation within the community is spot on. If people could die as part of a protest, should you do. But if you don't, will you ever be equal? As a story, some parts are better than others. For example, I'm not sure what the story of the child named "Dragon" was suppose to add. But for the most part, its a book that successfully pulls all the parts from different perspectives together, while showing a reader what it takes to make a push for equality.
