Her life was even wilder and bluer than her music. Joplin's low self-esteem drove her to too much drink and too many drugs and too much sex with too many partners- both male and female. It seems there was nothing or no one she would not take into her body. People like Joplin are too much for me. Listening to her music is as close to her lifestyle as I'd like to come. She was very talented and also very, very sad. ( )
