I love Roe, just adore his writing, but this book and the other 2 about omegaverse don't read like a Roe story...I dunno, like the voice is different. It's not bad, just different so I'm getting used to it. This was not as good, in my opinion, as desires of a monster, but still enjoyable! ( )

Crank up the air conditioning. This love story is a scorcher!

This was my first time reading an omegaverse tale. I loved how it primarily focused on Micah and Travis and the first few weeks of their relationship. The intense focus made for a smooth and simple introduction to this new universe of alphas and omegas. Just thinking about the sex makes me feel like this book should have one of those safety labels they place on flammable items. That said, this is not a ‘porn without plot’ type of book. The emotions of Travis and to a lesser extent Micah intensified the impact of every scene. So much love packed into such a uniquely beautiful book. ( )
