A cute story about friendship, and what makes good friends, with cute pictures that will have toddlers giggling as they enjoy "seeing" each of the "animals" and it would make a perfect book for garden-loving kiddos too.

If this isn't the best title I've seen in 2021, I don't know what is!

Sophie Corrigan's adorable book book series has another addition (and man was I excited!). Pugtato is the weirdest yet coolest book I found and I'm digging every second of it.

We're introduced to Pugtato's interesting friends: like Cowbbage (that spelling is so weird, let's be honest) who loves to help him, Tomatoad who is the funkiest little red toad I ever did see, Croccoli who is the most interesting creature I've ever seen, and many more!

The illustrations and the whole concept is wildly amusing and I love. I honestly think this is a great picture book packed with comedy. I adore this series and will continue to support it and giggle and grin along with it. I also love that this book is all about friendship and fun. I highly recommend this book!

Five out of five stars.

Friggin adorable. Cute rhymes.
A silly board book for all ages ( )

The pugtato books are just so creative. We are introduced to their friends like Brussells Snouts and Unicorn on the Cob. The book is simple, but told so well, with a great rhyming pattern and fun illustrations it could be read over and over again. ( )

Pugtato is back in a new board book that will appeal to the littlest of readers. Pugtato: Let’s Be Best Spuddies is as cute as the first book in the series with all the vegetable critters showing how to be friends. My granddaughter loved the original Pugtato book, but let’s be honest, at 16 months old she is a bit rough on standard children’s books. Besides engaging her with colorful illustrations and easy to understand text, she can throw it, stand on it, and chew on it to her heart’s content! I know this book will become a favorite. I can’t wait to give it to her!
