Dystopian novel, a series of about 80 years from now in and around London, England. Wardlaw may wind up having something to say as in a commentary on current political movements, for example to criticize Socialism. The protagonist, Donald Aldingford, is an intelligent man, who married into the upper class and works for one of the new "lords". Too negative for my taste and absolutely no mention of spirituality. Everyone seems only interested in what is good for his or her own concerns. Some intrigue, but I would have to care about the characters to want to read further. ( )
