Finally after a long time new volume of Blacksad is published :) I wont go into much talk about art because (as was case before) art is magnificent. What to say but .... beautiful :)
Story-wise our private eye gets involved into the conflict between Mafia and construction unions. What starts as a rather straight-forward task to protect the Union representative from Mafia, escalates into a conflict between main power players in the city, rich and powerful aiming to change the city landscape and leave their mark.
Cannot wait for the conclusion of the story in volume 2.
Highly recommended to fans of beautiful art, noir crime stories and Blacksad in particular. ( )
This Blacksad story is a solid graphic novel. The artwork is detailed without being overly rendered. The story is engaging but the book is too short! If you like noir fiction, then give this a try. ( )

Incredibly detailed illustration with expressive characters and a style distinct from other comics. The story didn't draw me in as much as I had hoped but it wasn't bad. ( )
