You can find more from me here: UPDATE I was thinking about this book today, and I had some thoughts.. For some reason, I feel like Penny's going to do vlogging (or something of the sort) and that book two will be called Girl On Film or Girl on Camera? Now that I'm writing it down it seems a little silly, but I'll post it anyway I guess.. ___________________________________________ Hmm.. This could be interesting. I'm not entirely sure of how the plot is going to progress from where it left off, but I'm definitely intrigued. I would imagine it'll be centred around fame (and how it can affect a person) because as with the previous novel there's the potential for some insightful looks into internet fame, given the author's personal situation. Hoping this'll be good :) Over & Out, T xx Honestly, I think I may have liked 'Girl Online: On Tour' more than 'Girl Online'. Though I did like 'Girl Online', I feel like it was a bit stiff whereas this book was more relaxed. Zoe Sugg is still a new, developing author but you can clearly see her writing progress in this novel. Where 'Girl Online' dealt with Penny and Noah meeting, this edition in the series focuses on the ups and downs of their relationship. I'm not sure if you can casually call it realistic, (since having a famous boyfriend isn't common for most of us) but in a weird way it is. Zoe touches base with a lot of issues that, though foreign to us, would be common to a person in Penny's position. It's a cute read and I did enjoy myself reading it. I look forward to another Girl Online novel should Zoe choose to write more (though I do hope she'll possibly pursue writing another book series in the future as well). Also, a note to some people I see in the reviews here: You're not being objective by formulating opinions before actually reading the material before you. Leaving bad reviews and one star ratings without actually reading the book is not anybody wants to see when deciding if they should read the book or not. If you hate the book after you've actually read it, then that's fine. However, hating the book solely because the author was famous prior to writing it is silly. This is a young woman who is working her way across different career paths and gaining success for herself. That is a wonderful thing! We should celebrate with her, not leave stupid comments with preconceived ideas. I've read Girl Online a while back upon the recommendation of my daughter, but I managed to read the sequel - Girl Online On Tour just yesterday. First off, aren't those book covers so darn cute? I also find the story of Penny and Noah charming. Sure, the whole "famous rockstar falls in love with an ordinary girl" is quite a cliche, but there's enough kernels of truth to make the story realistic and relatable. In the sequel, I like how Penny is able to manage her anxiety better, enabling her to stand up for herself and fight for what she believes in. Elliot is still quirky and lovable as ever, I seriously think Elliot, aka Wiki, deserves his own book. Some may not like how Penny and Noah's story ends, but I did. Yes, it is somewhat open-ended and not tied in a pretty little bow, but it ends very maturely on a hopeful note. If you're looking for a quick, light and clean YA romance novel, Zoe Zugg's books might be your cup of tea. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Like the first book in this series I devoured this in a matter of hours. I loved the way the relationships between all the characters was played out, again like the first book has a very realistic vibe to it. Loved the ending up until a certain point but will have to get the next book to see if it ends well.
Really hard to write my feelings about the ending without spoilers! ( )
