Theodore H. White created this book from a collection of journal entries, letters and other papers written by General Joseph W. Stilwell during his time in the China-Burma-India theater during World War II. I enjoyed the historical aspects and insights I gained into Stilwell's relationship with Chiang K'ai-shek and the British. ( )
