Really good, interesting book on company organisation — and a fast read to boot. At BaseCamp they document, and iterate on their corporate practices, and even version them. Each chapter is short, focuses on one thing. Naturally I don't agree with _everything_ but there was so much good stuff in here. I read this from the library but am planning on getting my own copy, rereading and sending extracts to others. ( )

Simile ai lavori precedenti degli autori, è quello che in inglese si definirebbe come un testo di no-nonsense management. Il tutto ricalcato sull'esperienza pratica, senza fronzoli o inutili teorizzazioni. Un po' meno incisivo però dei due lavori precedenti. ( )

As usual, their work is refreshing. If you've read Rework, it's basically the same thing but said better and more concisely, but more imperatively.

Also, whenever I read over Basecamp's benefits I get a little weepy. Why can't every business *care* about people a little more? (I know the answer.) ( )
