It Started with a Dog by Julia London
Book 2 of the Lucky Dog series. Contemporary romantic comedy.
On the way out of town for the holidays, Harper and Jonah accidentally switch phones. They end up forwarding messages back and forth and learning about each other’s lives. A little bit of flirting and the exchange leads to dating and lots of commonalities.

More personable dogs make this story a romping good time. From a dog that does not like anyone, to a puppy that’s simply adorable and a charity event benefiting a shelter, it’s a dog gone good time.
Family problems, job issues, and competition add in a lot of depth and confusion for the people in the story so there is a lot more going on than just the cute pups.
I really liked the resolution of the issues and problems. Plus the epilogue was romantic and wonderful. ( )
