I loved the audio version of this book with its Irish journey into Celtic Folklore, love and deep friendships. This was part one of a two part series and I will be reading eagerly, the sequel. A lovely listen for a snowy day! Ressenya escrita per a Crítics Matiners de LibraryThing . This is a magical story that is set in Ireland and takes you on a journey of love, loss, and searching for treasure, both the physical kind and the kind that may be found within ourselves. Aylee, the main character in this story, comes across Cailean, a lost and confused traveler who eventually remembers he is looking for something valuable that he has lost. In trying to help him she begins to find not only the truth in who she truly is herself but in who he is and why he is looking for a lost item.I enjoyed the voice of the person asked to read this audiobook. She had a nice accent fitting the Irish setting and characters. I also enjoyed the inner world of Aylee's character, as she talked about her feelings for men and her coming-of-age woes as a young woman living in a tiny town where very few men surround her close to her age. I also enjoyed the mystery of the lost outsider she finds named Cailean. He becomes a catalyst in helping Aylee to become more truthful about her feelings surrounding her own developing identity and what she wants in her future. Ressenya escrita per a Crítics Matiners de LibraryThing . This was one of my favorite reads this year. It's both richly magical and tenderly melancholy, in the all the best of ways. Ressenya escrita per a Crítics Matiners de LibraryThing . I enjoyed this book. It has a good storyline, I loved the characters and how well the characters were described. It's a small town, magical, make you worry and smile, quick read. I wouldn't say it's an amazing must read, but I would recommend reading it.The narrator was not amazing... I'd give the narration 2 stars. I think her accent added to the listening experience but otherwise I think she could have done better. I listened to it on 1.45x for it to be a normal pace. There was a lot of background noise, maybe she was drinking tea and the cup and saucer were clattering, that was very distracting from the story. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

I really enjoyed this book. With all the strife going on, I wanted to read a book that was happy or had a happy end. This book fulfilled that spot. The book is a sort of coming of age book about a young girl in an unnamed village where everyone knows everyone. It follows her through identifying and understanding what she wants from her life through a series of interesting romantic events. It's just a light, cheerful story with an interesting ending. I really enjoyed it. ( )
