For me, this book was a bit of a letdown. The plot is great but I had a big issue with correlating the age of the characters with the events and the time passed between their and second meetings. There was just too much that occurred for me to digest a 5-year timeline, considering the female lead was struggling with "mental issues" and did not have any positive support from her family to logically and practically achieve all that she did academically and career-wise. I understand this is fiction but it's not a paranormal, fantasy story. It's supposed to be a contemporary romance based on real issues faced by people in the real world. So unfortunately this one gets a 3-star rating from me.
