Powerful book. You will finish it in one setting. It's more artwork and thoughts. Created for Young Adults, but a good choice for adults, too. A story of a black family during Covid and what they were experiencing. So many messages. This one will stay with me. The dialogue at the end between the author and illustrator is also interesting. ( )

I read this book in one sitting, maybe 30 min. I cried. I cried in despair and I cried in hope. This is beautiful. It’s in prose, of a kind but not as intimidating as some poetry. ( )

...and breathe out. I really could've used this book in early 2020. It was an amazingly well drawn (and written) reminder that it is the people around us that give us breath- and that we are the only ones who can do something about this messed up world we live in. ( )

Jason Reynolds is so gifted and the art complements his writing perfectly. A quick read but a really good read. It is very timely and I think it speaks to everyone that has struggled through the last couple of years, so everyone. ( )
