In the first, Dick Grayson (currently in the role of Batman) recovers a body he believes to be that of his mentor's. Regular readers know that there are ways of restoring the dead to life in Batman. Needless to say, things go wrong. Then, realizing that Batman has been lost in time, Grayson, Damian(the new Robin) and butler Alfred look for clues he might have left them in, around and under Wayne mansion. This story ends with a last-page revelation that has me eager to read the next volume. I was initially disappointed that Frank Quitely hadn't done any interior art in these issues but I shouldn't have been. Cameron Stewart's art on the first arc is solid, and Andy Clarke's on the second is exquisitely clean and detailed--dare I say even better than Quitely's? Yes, I think so. Morrison's writing is wonderful as usual, complex but not confusing. I enjoyed this book even more than the first volume. An interesting collection of issues. From the Batman entry in the Blackest Night series (the heroes as zombies comic story line) to a good ole Batman mystery and Robin nearly killing Batman. In it we get to take a walk down the Wayne family ancestors too, and there's a nice crazy daughter of Ra's Al Ghul story too. A lot is going on, but it doesn't seem too busy when you're reading it. The art was alright, but it wasn't the best part of the TPB, that was the story lines. Four stars for those. The cover and the title of this collection is decieving. Its not really Batman Vs. Robin, thankfully. A few times they get seperated and the image shown on the cover is actually when Robin was under a spell. Jason Todd makes an amazing return as the Red Hood (I learend later this actually had happened earlier in the DC Universe I just didn't know it). The story is great and makes a lot sense. AGain, it goes to quick and transitions aren't great, reminding me that comics are best read in a monthly series format. Batman is dead, long live Batman! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
