In this book we get Nic and Celia’s conclusion and to say Nic is on the war path is an understatement. Nic is finally acknowledging his thoughts and feelings towards Celia so when he goes to get her, and she’s gone he is not too happy. Nic sets out to go after what is his and make no mistake Celia is his in every way that matters to him. Without giving too much away because there are a lot of twists and turns, Celia’s whole life is about to be turned upside down some more. Nic is bound and determined to make Celia see she is his in all ways and at times it could be cruel, but this is how he knew how to show her love by taking care of her. This book has a lot more steam and Celia have to decide if she can live in Nic’s world the way he wants or not at all because Nic is not letting her go no matter what. Relationships are tested, some fail, some are mended, and some on shaky ground but can Celia love Nic for who he is or will she try to walk away from it all? This book was very intense, steamy, and page turning. I loved Nic’s ruthless ways and his compassion he only allowed Celia to see. I loved how Celia finally stepped up and stopped being a victim. Overall a dark mafia read that I enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions. ( )
