So completely of it's time, and provides good documentation of how things were back then. Even reading it in the early 90s it was evident how things have changed. Adrian comes across as being physically and emotionally underdeveloped in a family that probably didn't want him. ( )

Meh. It felt like being 13-going-on-14 again: in turn earnest, pretentious, self-centered, kind, dull, weird, repeat. So kudos for getting that right, but I wasn't really feeling it. ( )
