Searching for the perfect home, this story intertwines two families that share a common interest in finding the right home. I found this story to be delightful; two realtors, a human and a raccoon, assist clients who are of different species find the perfect home for their families. I believe some young readers will find humor in this story. In the story, the human realtor has great difficulty in satisfying her clients with finding their ideal home. Each vacant place goes denied by the human family. They always seem to find some faults in either its structure or the environment. While, the raccoon realtor is very successful in choosing the best place for his/her clients. For each client, the raccoon chooses the same location, at the Old Mill Farm, and his/her clients seem to be thrilled at the prospect of having the farm as their home. He/She goes through multiple families while the human realtor is stuck on the same unsatisfied family. It is not until the human realtor introduces the Old Mills Farm to the human family that they decide to accept the realtor's offer and declare the farm as their home. ( )
