Fiction. Literature. Romance. Humor (Fiction.) HTML:Everyone knows that all's fair in love and war. But these two will learn that sabotage is a dish best served naked.

A sexy, compulsively readable romantic comedy that dives headlong into the thrill and doubt of modern love, Dating You/Hating You by New York Times bestselling author Christina Lauren is the story of what two high-powered agents will??and won't??do to get everything they ever wanted.
Despite the odds against them from an embarrassing meet-awkward at a mutual friend's Halloween party, Carter and Evie immediately hit it off. Even the realization that they're both high-powered agents at competing firms in Hollywood isn't enough to squash the fire.

But when their two agencies merge??causing the pair to vie for the same position??all bets are off. What could have been a beautiful, blossoming romance turns into an all-out war of sabotage. Carter and Evie are both thirtysomething professionals??so why can't they act like it?

Can Carter stop trying to please everyone and see how their mutual boss is really playing the game? Can Evie put aside her competitive nature long enough to figure out what she really wants in life? Can their actor clients just be something close to human? Whether these two Hollywood love/hatebirds get the storybook Hollywood ending, or just a dramedy of epic proportions, you get to enjoy Christina Lauren's heartfelt, hilarious story of romance in th

I almost DNF'd this book cause I can't stand pranks, but this was February's goal book. So I finished it, and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed the way it wrapped up. ( )

Enjoyable brain candy rom-com book. I'm feeling the pressure of being 4 books behind on my 2019 reading challenge and have turned to quick, light, fun reads to pick up the pace.

This author's writing just clicks for me and once I start reading I just can't seem to put the books down. ( )

Christina Lauren know how to make you fall in love with their main characters and this book was no different, I adored Carter and Evie.

This was an enjoyable read and worth it if you are a Christina Lauren fan, it's not their strongest book but it had the charm that each book of theirs contains.

This was a low 3.5 for me, rounded down to a 3 as even though I liked it, it felt like it dragged a little. It had laugh out loud moments, especially when the main characters got into abit of a prank war but it didn't grip me like their other books.

I really appreciated having dual POV as seeing Carter's thoughts were a highlight for me and I adored him and his text messages to his best friend. ( )

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this trope similar to “The Hating Game” where two people secretly totally dig each other, but become total crushing enemies when they are forced to compete after a merger at work. Carter and Evie have a complete meet-cute when they are the only singles at a party and both come as Harry Potter characters. I love the adorkability there. And you have to sympathize with them when their boss (who is completely hateable) pits them against one another. Carter isn’t a jerk. He’s not some alpha male set on controlling Evie. They’re both decent people who just don’t want to lose their jobs, which is why this novel really really pulls at your heartstrings.

Over the course of this, Carter and Evie push and pull at each other. There’s funny pranks of course, but also moments of seriousness where you can’t help but ship this cute couple. And I also enjoyed the way they personally found their inner strength to start to stand up for what they truly believed in. A great read!
