This was so fantastic. The cliffhanger ending had me dying to know what was going to happen I started the third book that night. I love the characters and the world building and the development and growth the characters are doing in this series. (

As compelling of a read as the first book was. I genuinely couldn’t put it down and I can’t devour the third one fast enough to continue the story and discover all there is to come. Very enjoyable! (

Couldn't put it down! I love the honesty of the MFC even when she's lying to herself, she admits it. The character grows stronger and matures in this second book and as she does, so does her relationship with Hawk/Casteel. There are lots of moments of introspection that really gives insight to Poppy's personality but also so much action, battle, and close calls that it never feels slow as they travel ever closer to answers, love, and Casteel's home. (
