I enjoyed this book and getting to know Dom some more outside his family in the Bratva. I enjoyed their family dynamic a lot, but when he was with Lara, we got to see a more sensitive side to him. Lara and Dom meet in an unusual way since he kind of kidnaps her for a few minutes and then later we see them meeting again, but they both have secrets they are keeping. There were surprises that I saw coming then there were a few that shocked me and I didn’t see coming at all. It was action packed and full of hot steamy alpha-ness that Dom was perfection for. They both brought out the best in each other and helped each other see things from different perspectives. I really loved how supportive, protective, and loyal Dom was to not only Lara but his whole family. Another great read in this series. ( )
