Some of the recipes are really odd. I remember making the Pentecost cake and being very disappointed. However, the lentil and tomatoes recipe has been a life time favorite. (

Awesome book with great, simple recipes. I especially like the way it follows the seasons. And I love the quotes, poems, and pictures that surround the recipes. (
