If you thought this was just another hockey romance (like I mistakenly did) then you would be very surprised to find out that this is a dark hockey romance. Our hero is as covered in red flags as you can be without actually being the material the flag is made out of. And yet, he still gets the girl. To me this reads more like a dark obsession romance with bits of hockey thrown in there for good measure. Don't get me wrong, I loved reading it and being shocked by every turn of events, but it is in no way a sweet hockey romance. ( )
