Despite some of the terminology that I wasn't familiar with, I enjoyed the book. It's a good read for anyone who's interested in the film industry as it presents the reality of the work behind a film. It shows its less glamorous points that takes place to make a movie work out in the end. Also, it's a good read for females who work in a male-dominated field. The heroine in the book braves all the insults and works hard to come out on top. Readers will find themselves rooting for Rox as she faces groping hands, incompetent colleagues and filming difficulties. ( )

This took I little more attention than most chick lit at the beginning because it involves a lot of description of being on set, movie-making and, more specifically, the functions of a focus puller, all of which are areas I knew nothing about. The investment was worth it because I learned some things about the movie biz and got to enjoy a fun novel. ( )
