I'm always extremely wary of celebrity authors (have you ever tried to read Madonna's picture books?) but my husband liked the artwork in this one and bought it for my son. Who is 13 months and adores it. Adores. He asks me for "baby" about 10 times a day. He especially likes the page where the little girl is dumping "noodoos" (noodles) on her head. While it isn't my favorite, it gets a solid 3 stars for not being terribly written and being popular with my toddler. ( )

Everyone loves this book, from Grandmas/Grandpas to mommies/daddies to toddlers/babies! The pictures are very expressive - a little one is acting in some typical ways and is being told to behave 'please, baby, please'! It's endearing and has a nice rhyming text. A great choice!! ( )

Please, baby Please was one of my utmost favorite books as a child. The repetitive words " please baby please" was such an enjoyment to my ears. This book also reminds me of me. I was always that child you'd have to beg to do something. I just enjoyed doing things on my own time just like the baby in Please Baby Please! ( )
