This silly book is sure to make children laugh as they read about the seven Peters children and their picky eating habits. It's perfect to teach children about rhyming and the detailed pictures will keep them engaged throughout the book. At the end of the book, the seven children accidentally bake a cake for their mother using only the picky foods that they eat. Children of all ages will love this book and I will be reading it to my class this week! There was a time when I could recite the entire poem of the Seven Silly Eaters by heart, without even looking at the book. The cadence is perfect, the story is hysterical, and the pictures are beautiful. I picked up this book to read to my son's 2nd grade class (they loved it) and left it sitting on the car seat. When I picked my high-schooler up from track, she saw the book, squealed in delight, and carried it off to her room for the night. It is probably best for young children-- but it is so cute that anyone will love it! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

I liked it overall but felt there was just so much potential to make it even funnier; and I didn't love the ending.
It is refreshing to read books about large families, though!
