S'està carregant… The Three Billy Goats Gruff (Big Books)de Janet Stevens
![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. 34 months - We've read many versions of this fairy tale but none were as humorously dressed. ( ![]() I thought this story was really cute. One thing I enjoyed about this story was the illustrations. The illustrations are so dramatic and bold. The size differences between each billy goat is amazing, and the details on the troll, such as the large nose and the bumpy skin, really make the difference between this being decent and good! Another thing I enjoyed about this story is the layout. Most traditional literature has a repetitive sense to it, much like this one. Each goat crosses the bridge (trip trap trip trap), and I really like the way I can predict what will happen next. The big idea in this story is to not be greedy and be kind to everyone. The Three Billy Goats Gruff is about billy goats who are trying to get to the hillside to get fat on delicious grass. They run into some trouble with a troll under a bridge, but the largest billy goat stands up to the troll and defeats him. This book is intended for elementary school children. Three billy goats called Gruff are trying to get to the top of a hillside to get fat, but they encounter a troll. The biggest goat stands up to the troll and defeats him. This book is for Elementary grades. Summary~The Three Billy Goats Gruff tells the story of three goats who have eaten all of the food in their valley. They are still hungry. They have heard of another valley across the bridge and over the hill. The only problem is their is a mean old troll who lives under the bridge! The first two goats convince the troll to let them pass by saying their brother is much bigger and would provide a better meal for the troll. When the third billy goat passes he scares the mean bullying troll and he crosses the bridge as well. Once they get the the valley everyone is happy and there is plenty have sweet grass to fill their hungry bellies. Personal reaction~I thought this book was so cute. It is great to read aloud. The kids that I read it to loved it and loved the different voices I made for the goats and troll. Great book! Classroom extension~1. This book could be used to discuss bullying in the classroom. 2. I think this would be a great book to mimic. We could have a little classroom end of the year play. 3. It would be fun to have a classroom picnic like the goats did after they went across the bridge to the sweet green grass. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
