This is one of those vintage books that has re-appeared in my later years when I tried to remind my sister what book she had said she loved when she was younger. Even if the story doesn't stick in your head the beautiful and unique illustrations of this book will catch your breath. Unlike some of her other works, "The Princess and the Lion" doesn't have much of a plot and is rather a much slower read. There is no actual guessing as to what will happen and so it is one of those books that may be a good starter book for an older crowd due to some issues mentioned within the book itself. Otherwise it may take some coaxing to pick-up and read. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
