I had never read it before until it was introduced to me by someone in the class. The illustrations in the book help set the mood and tone of the book. They were quite representative of what the actual dog and Morris looked like. Another thing that I liked about this book was the plot and informational edge to it. While it was a nonfiction, I was still learning about the idea of seeing dogs and Buddy and Morris. I think the purpose of the story is to inform students about the first seeing dog in the United States as well as how the process works and how helpful they are to people who are blind. I liked this book for a few reasons. First the illustrations helped with the mood of the book and made it interesting. The illustrations were made in a way that were kid friendly and at the end of the book they showed an actual photo of Morris and Buddy to show what they looked like in real life. The other thing is that the plot of the story was interesting and engaging because it would keep you hooked and the information you learn about as you read in also fun. The book was made for the reader to learn about buddy and his life and how that lead to more Seeing Eye Dogs in the US. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
