A decent enough little story, though somewhat childish and piggybacked on the current werewolf ’hype’ created by the movie trilogy Underworld and the book series Twilight way to much. I mean, the story takes places around the Seattle area, the transformation is unostentatious, they turn into huge wolves, and they are called Lycanthians. One thing that superficially bugs me about this story though is that is plays on the ‘alpha and omega’ wolf pack structure way to much which has time in time again to be proven false about real wolves. Early on the author began to use a few stereotypical and obvious plot details and developments and continued to use them throughout the book. It was a somewhat decent read for once go through but it wasn’t the best in the world. ( )
