Enjoyable but not one of his best novels (

Liam Halloran is an agent for a security firm and has the dubious job of guarding a psychic who finds mineral deposits for a large corporation. However, there is more to the job than meets the eye and Halloran enters a world of cruel evil and perverted love. His life and sanity is threatened as he confronts both the evil and his own dark side.

I enjoyed this book as I have enjoyed all James Herbert books. Good storylines and great characters plus a superb touch of the macabre combine to make his books 'must reads'. (
