No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Teaching children to be different, it is good to be your own person and stay true to that. This book follows a little mouse named Chrysanthemum who loves her name. When she starts school the students start to make fun of her name because it is so long. Her parents and a teacher Ms. Twinkle comfort her and tell her there is nothing wrong with her name. She feels better and the students see her name is indeed beautiful. This is a good book to show on the first day of school because everyone is getting to know each other and kindness is always nice talk about. Chrysanthemum was my absolute favorite childhood book. I memorized most of it be-fore I could even read and would say the words along with my mom as she would read it to me. This book sheds light on bullying which is relatable to so many children. I love how this book teaches its readers to love who they are, no matter what others say. Chrysanthemum loves her name - until she starts school. She thinks about changing it, until the music teacher, who everyone adores, reveals that her name is Delphinium. The illustrations were also very detailed and cute. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
