I loved this book. It provided multiple examples of how children can help keep the Earth clean and alive. The back of the book includes 12 examples of ways that children can help. Some examples include, "never take more food than I can eat, I hate seeing food go to waste." Also, "not all bugs are bad, so when I see a bug inside, I try to help get it outside!" These are great easy examples that can help children feel like they can make a difference in the world. I also like how the author provided descriptive language like, "friendly dolphins, gigantic whales, and timid turtles." This help children practice their vocabulary and the use of adjectives. The overall message of this story is to inform children how they, too, can help keep the Earth clean and alive! ( )
