Includes a short description of tea history (discovery, The tea party, who drinks the most tea, etc), tea varieties, tea in various cultures, various tea recipes (I made a copy of the chai recipe that includes ground almonds), How to make a cup of tea and a few general high tea recipes (Nothing groundbreaking there).
I really enjoyed this book. If you are a seasoned tea veteran you may not learn anything new, but should still enjoy reading it.
Pet peeves: 1) I think they have the origin of the name gunpowder green tea wrong (It is from how the tea is rolled, not the colour of the brew correct?) 2) This book does not discuss how to brew different teas, assuming black tea type brewing works also for green and oolong.
That said, it is a cute book and I had a very good time reading it! :)
