Het laatste boek is ook uit. Jammer. En helemaal jammer dat het laatste deel zo kort is. Ik ben een beetje aan het twijfelen of ik het einde nu wel of niet goed vind. Het past wel bij de serie, maar toch vind ik er ergens ook wat kort door de bocht. Het voelt ook niet echt af op de een of andere manier. ( )
La batalla de Abri ha terminado con victoria, pero a un terrible coste, Haplo, mortalmente herido, ha sido capturado por Zar y trasladado a Abarrach. Allí, Xar se propone convertir a Haplo en uno de los atormentados no muertos, para obligarlo a revelar dónde se encuentra la legendaria Séptima Puerta.
I somewhat confusing, fast-paced, action-packed conclusion (with plot holes) to the adventures of Haplo, Alfred and Dog. The Seventh Gate is the final book in the series and won't make much sense unless you have read the previous 6 books.
The DeathGate Cycle has numerous issues with plot, continuity and erratic characterisation, but the world building is original and some of the characters are wonderfully written. This series is fun to read provided you don't think about things too much. ( )

The good and bad dragonsserpents, along with the patryns and sartans are all locked into the labyrinth, death’s gate is shut, so no more travel between worlds but the flow between worlds still works, so life can continue. Find out alot about the Sundering and history. Glad to finish it tho. ( )
