J.D. is now on the run with Daniel, but still does not remember her past. She also knows that she has some kind of power that she can't explain, and it frightens her. She and Daniel seek to find out more information that might lead them to the truth. They run across Jacob who gives them what seems like a home living underground with other runaways, but it isn't long before J.D. realizes that she has endangered all of them, including Daniel. Who can she trust? Will Jacob betray them? I'm anxious to read the final book in the trilogy, Chasing Yesterday #3, The Truth. ( ) Another good story by Wasserman. Who can she trust? Will Jacob betray them? I'm anxious to read the final book in the trilogy, Chasing Yesterday #3, The Truth. It really is a good mystery adventure, especially for a somewhat younger audience (meaning early teenagers). J.D. is cool heroine, though a little clueless at times. But by the end of the book, she'd learned a lot and gotten pretty cool. It will never be the next great young teenage adventure series, but it's still pretty cool. Looking forward to finishing the series. J.D's on the run after what happened in the first book (read it) while trying to find her past. Well, that and some crazy hypnotism guy (Ansel Sykes' his name) is chasing after her. Daniel's going along with her to A. to get away from the orphanage and B. to hang out with J.D. Later, they are attacked by street kids, but are eventually win their trust abd stay with them for a while. J.D runs away to find out answers herself, but then Daniel calls the cops (Betrayal, huh?). Which then turn out to want to "sell" her to the highest bid for her "abilities" (moving things with your mind). After being trapped there for, like, 1 or 2 days she uses her "abilities" to bust out of there. J.D turned herself in to Ansel Sykes to find out the truth of her "moving things with her mind" thing. This is a really good book, and if you like the "forgetful hero/heroine" stories. The ending has just the right amount of suspense to keep you on the story. (maybe a little TOO much suspense...) Her mystery past thing really hooks you on. Who is she, and why does she have those MTWHM (Move Things With Her Mind) powers? What does Sykes have to do with JD, besides "designing" her? The betrayal part by Daniel was an accident, and I think Wasserman showed both characters' regret and anger really well. The plot thickens... In this book is about a girl name J.D. and she is running away from people who is trying to get her. She is running away with her friend Daniele. When they try to get some shut eye they end up breaking a enterie in some peoples place where they sometimes sleep. The people are about the age of 9-14. Most of them come from the place where Danieles from and some are just abandon. There she leaves because she almost killed Danile because she can move things with her mind. She doesn't know the whole truth so she is trying to find the person who is after her. You should read this book if you like mystery and action books. This book is a really good book and if you liked the first book you will love this book. This book is interesting because she is just right now figuring out who she is and why she can move things with her mind. How would you feel if you don't know a thing about your self? What she doesn't know is...you have to find out in the next book. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

"J.D. is on the run, searching for answers about her past, and about the dangerous powers she can't seem to control. She knows she can't trust the memories implanted in her mind by the mysterious Dr. Styron, but they still feel real-- and they won't stop haunting her. J.D. and Daniel must race to uncover the truth and unlock the dark secrets in her brain-- before it's too late"--P. [4] of cover. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
