No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Clever and innovative way to explore old-fashioned fables. I loved the modern setting and way characters interacted. Lots of fun. ( ![]() I had this series recommended to me by many people, so I thought I would bite the bullet and check it out. I only have the first volume (compiled issues 1-5), but what I've seen so far looks to be promising. The story and premise is compelling and the art is decent. I think I might pick up the next few volumes and see what fate has in store for these characters... The first volume of Fables is clever, maybe a bit too clever, maybe a bit too obvious but the concept has tremendous potential - almost Shrek for adults. This first book is procedural type storyline where Bigby Wolf (The Big Bad Wolf) tries to solve the disappearance and possible murder of Rose Red. Willingham drops a lot of tidbits for future narratives and while this volume seemed a bit pedestrian, I've heard that subsequent books are WAY more interesting. I look forward to reading them. Who killed Rose Red? In Fabletown, where fairy tale legends live alongside regular New Yorkers, the question is all anyone can talk about. But only the Big Bad Wolf can actually solve the case - and, along with Rose's sister Snow White, keep the Fabletown community from coming apart at the seams.
