![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Pedantic. Advocates and teaches the traditional 19th-century style of drawing and painting, i.e. the creation of the illusion of three-dimensional reality on a two dimensional surface. Since this style has become fashionable once more, this book is relevant to the student. Solomon has some interesting ideas about the way to approach drawing. For example, he advocates the drawing of what we today call "negative space." (Solomon calls it "shapes left.") He considers awareness of negative space fundimental to seeing with an artist's eye.
