Most of the stories were old and cumbersome, sprinkled with shorter ones from more recent decades. The book felt unbalanced. Overall, I thought "It", "Pigeons from Hell", and "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper" were the most interesting. Stephen King's "The Reach" is a good story but I don't think it quite fits the horror category. ( )
