This book is about a little boy that moved to America from Korea because of his fathers work. This book tells about how because this Si Won was different and new the kids would tease him, all except one. This of course did not last and thanks to this one friend that helped him he gained the friendship of his classmates by helping them win the school fair.

Personal Reflection: I loved this book because it speaks to an experience than some kids including myself have had.

Classroom Extentions:
1) Journal about childrens personal experiences as a bully or being bullied, about how the students would feel/act/respond to a situation involving bullying.
2) Journal about how to show your freinds you care and/or about how to make a new student feel welcome.
3) Class discussion about bullying.... Should it be allowed? why or why not? Also have the students give ways to stop a situation involving bullying. What are the right and wrong ways to handle a situation?
4) Class project. Get to know your classmates and freinds better by selecting 3 questions from the board or writing your own questions. Then pick 5 class members and ask these 3 questions to them. They other option for the 5 picking the 5 class members so that students don't isolate anyone and get to know all members of there class with time is for the teacher to have a list of 5 students for each student and randomly hand them out.
