The Curtain Rises, by Quentin Reynolds (read 26 Feb 1945) I started reading this book on Feb 21, 1945, and on that day said: Am reading The Curtain Rises by Quentin Reynolds. And what's important : "by Quentin Reynolds." Main reason I am reading it is that it is by Quentin Reynolds I so liked a radio speech he gave for FDR in the 1944 campaign. I finished reading the book on Feb 26, 1945. but made no further comment on the book. I believe it was an account of D-Day. Reynolds later was assailed viciously by Westbrook Pegle and so he sued Pegler and obtained a large verdict for libel against him. A really satisfying event to anyone who despised Pegler as much as I did. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
